Workshop with Dārta Sidere 16.10.2024.

In October 2024 we were delighted to launch an educational programme aimed at introducing children and young people to the materials, techniques and media of contemporary art, providing the opportunity to learn them in close contact with the artists.

Under the guidance of AIR artist @dartasidere and in collaboration with @kuldigaartschool, a workshop was organised in which eight young artists - Līva Kronlaka, Elizabete Enija Bravlanska, Paula Līcīte, Šarlote Šlegermilha, Eva Markševica, Marta Skolmeistere, Luīze Buka and Pārsla Balode - from the Kuldiga Art School were invited to participate. Inspired by the shapes and forms of autumn, the works were created in aerated concrete. The young people explored the link between imagination and material, discovering the transformative power of touch in material.
